Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63031,
Hello TI Community,
I'm currently using a High Efficiency Buck Converter TPS62743 to provide 3V3 rail to the main processor. The input source is a 3.7V Li-Po battery. As I'm trying to introduce a new feature that requires an accurate and stable 3V3 for the entire operating range of the battery – from fully charge status down to 3.3V (and below, without allowing the battery to reach 3.0V cut-off voltage) – the automatic transition into 100% mode of this IC changes the Vout. See below an extract from the datasheet:
I’ve found two possible replacement that might suits our application: TPS63031 and TPS63051 . Both have:
- Automatic transition between step-down and boost mode
- Fixed (or adjustable) output voltage
- Voltage feedback
However as there are constraint on pcb space, the TPS63031 ( VSON10 package) can't be fitted. So my choice is on TPS63051 at the moment.
Do you know any other alternative that might suit my requirements and the package size doesn't exceed the TPS63051 size?
Thank you in advance,
Francesco
