Hello TI,

Can i use this part BQ24105IRHLRQ1 for 3Ah SMF battery i need to charge by 0.5 amp only.

Also let me know if there any issue or i need to take care of something to use this part.

Hello,

What chemistry is your battery? The supported cell chemistries for this battery are Li-Ion/Li-Polymer, Lithium Phosphate/LiFePO4, NiCd, and NiMH.

This part can charge at 2 A maximum so the charge current should be fine.

Hello Michael,

It is SMF battery 3AH lead acid. i need only 0.5 Amp to charge. And it should be Automotive qualified. if this is not match please suggest another and simpler .
