Hello,

I recently asked about the phase compensation of the UCC28063A.
Among them, I was advised to reduce the capacitance of the VSENSE filter capacitor shown below to less than 1nF.

What is the reason for making the capacitance of VSENSE filter capacitors less than 1nF?

    hello kaji,

    with bigger filter cap, the output voltage response will be lower. The ouput voltage dynamic performance is worse, that is why we recommend a filter cap with small value if you already have a good layout and the sampling of vosense are good.
