Hi Team,
There is a good new that DIN LP8866-Q1 !
And customers have the following questions and need help answering,THX
1. What is the IC warranty data from the Tier II supplier and the automotive history of the part?
2.Does the controller IC have any sort of pre-bias limitations that would prevent startup?
3.Is there possible pre-bias of the output voltage from other circuits?
4.What is the tolerance of the regulator?
5.a) Does the regulator have a built in reset circuit?
b) Is it compatible with the microcontroller, EEPROM or any other IC/component requirements?
6.Does IC regulator always have a minimum load that is greater than any paths of current injection on the regulator output?
7.Have IC included the bias current into the calculation of power dissipation?
8.Is the regulator capable of driving both DC and transient loading requirements?
9.Are there any slew rate requirements on the power supply input or enable/inhibit inputs? You may have to verify with the supplier as this is not always specified. Some IC’s use a fast slew rate to enable their ESD protection circuitry. It has been experienced that IC’s with this structure can falsely trigger the ESD circuitry and the IC can miss-behave.
