TPS7A83A: Current leak path from Vout

Hello Expert,

I have question for TPS7A83A.
I'd like to know about current leak path when it is applied voltage(approx. 4V) on Vout pin during I use ANYOUT feature.
Detailed condition is as follows.

Condition1: BIAS=OPEN、VIN＝5V、EN=OFF
Condition2: BIAS=OPEN、VIN＝5V、EN=ON

In condition1, I suspect current leak path are ANYOUT's FB resister and discharge circuit.
In condition2, Suspected current leak path are only ANYOUT's FB resister.

Is there other leak path from Vout side?

Hello Kazuki,

When the part is enabled: the active discharge circuit, FB resistor network, and the PG pin.

When the part is disabled: the active discharge circuitry will contribute significantly to the leakage current.

Hello Juliette,

Would you tell me leakage current rating of active discharge circuit during enabled?
There is rating of leakage current at PG pin as 1uA(Max) but there isn't any rating on discharge circuit.

Hi Kazuki,

It is very difficult to separate the leakage current of the active discharge circuitry from the ground current. Because of this, we are only able to say that the leakage current rating will be included in the total ground current of the device - meaning it will be significantly less than what is rated
