TPS61099: Power consumption between Down mode and Pass through mode

Hi Team,

When chip is in down mode, what's the power consumption? Will the power consumption be increased with pass through mode? The calculation of power consumption is whether equals to voltage *current?

    Hi Gust,

    In the down mode the device operates like a PMOS LDO, the power dissipation on the chip you can use (VIN-VOUT)*Iload. Please take the thermal rise in account . Detailed description is in datasheet 8.3.8. Thanks!
