TPS563207: Pspice transient Simulation

Part Number: TPS563207

Hello,

I'm trying to run a transient simulation of this part based very closely on a webbench design:

webench.ti.com/.../SDP.cgi

Currently, it does not seem that a transient test model exists in Pspice, so I started from scratch from the part itself and some modeling applications. I included my pspice files in this question. For some reason, I can't get the output voltage to be correct, but I'm not sure what I did wrong, all my components look fine, but I suppose I must be doing something wrong. experiement.dsn

Let me know if there are any solutions I can try,

Thank you!

  • Hi Stevie,

I have checked you schematic. Below is my suggestions:

    1. You can find EN rising and falling threshold voltage from the datasheet which says that EN rising threshold is 1.35V(typical).

    2. From your simulation file, you set high voltage of V6 as 1V, so the IC will not be started. I changed high voltage of V6 to 4V. you can find output voltage waveform below.

    3. It is also recommended that you can directly connect EN to VIN through a 10k resistor.

If you have any other concern, please feel free to tell me. Thanks!
