BQ40Z80: Will there be a watchdog problem even after full discharge and undervoltage?

Part Number: BQ40Z80
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

BQ40Z80 7S design scheme,

The IC works abnormally when the battery is at SOC 0%. The specific performance is similar to the constant reset of the IC, which is the same as the phenomenon that it cannot be activated after Shundown. CHG and DSG are both in the off state and cannot be charged and discharged;

When the test reappears, it is found that if the battery is RESET when the SOC is 0% or when the battery is low (about 17V-24V), this kind of imagination will appear and it cannot be exited. However, it is normal to reset or power on the battery at >24V (SOC≥1%), and the above phenomenon does not occur, which proves that the IC is not damaged.

Is this situation also caused by the watchdog? TI said that new firmware will be released to solve the watchdog problem. Is there any new news?

TI engineers, have you encountered a similar situation? How to deal with it? Do you have any better suggestions?

The program has been widely used, and I look forward to your reply, thank you.
