TPS53647: Output Over-voltage protection

Part Number: TPS53647

Hi,

How to set over voltage protection when using TPS53647 in pin strapping mode.

We are using TPS53647 for generating 0.9v VCCINT for Ultrascale+ FPGA and maximum recommended voltage that can be applied to FPGA in datasheet is 0.927v.

So we want to ensure that TPS53647 generates over voltage fault event when output voltage exceeds 0.927v.

An early response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lalit

  • Hi,

Tracking OVF limit  is fixed for TPS53647 controller.

for 5mV VID case, Tracking OVF = VID voltage +200mV

for 10mV VID case, Tracking OVF = VID voltage +400mV

I assume, you might be using 5mV step VID for 0.9V. so OVF set as 1.1V(0.9+0.2V).

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Rama.
