Hi Support Team,

Regarding LM5140, I would like to know the following questions:

My customer uses LM5140 to design products,

It is found that at 12V output, after the load is connected, the MOS tube is hot seriously and the inductance screams.

Can you help my customer check this problem?

Please send you schematic and a completed LM5140-Q1 quickstart calculator file or this design.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your kindly reply!

My customer sent the schematic as follow file:

Note that the precision resistance is replaced by 0 ohm resistor,

and the 5V output inductance is replaced by other values.
