BQ27541-V200: Chemistry ID of BQ27541-V200

Part Number: BQ27541-V200
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM, BQSTUDIO

Hi,

From page 12 of the documentation (Start Guide for BQ Products), my customer is thinking of posting to E2E to get the proper ID.

Please tell me the approximate period from posting to E2E to getting an ID.

  • Hello Koki,

Please upload your log to the GPCCHEM tool. You will get an automated email response with the closest chemistry matches.

The situation of no match is very rare. In such cases your cell will need to be characterized by TI. Someone from TI will contact you and start that process.Posting to e2e is to initiate the process.

  • Hi, Shirish

The situation of no match is very rare. In such cases your cell will need to be characterized by TI. Someone from TI will contact you and start that process.Posting to e2e is to initiate the process.

In the above case, how long does my customer get feedback after posting to E2E?

Actually, development is still more than half a year away, but they need to check with TI to get theirr chemistry ID.

And they want to know in advance how much schedule they need.

Please let me know, as it will take an approximate period.

    Thanks,

    Koki

  • Hello Koki,

The time period depends on a lot of factors. Shipping times, demand for cell characterization are known factors. Sometimes cells may have unexpected characteristics that will require experts to analyze the chemistry and provide input before the data can be finalized. If you have the cell now, then please check the list of characterized cells in bqStudio. If it is not found, then submit a log to GPC tools to check if there is a good match to an existing cell. Since you have 6 months, it is very likely that you can have everything ready if you start collecting logs now and start the process.
