NEED LDO POWER FOR 3.3V, DRIVING LOW ENABLE THE DEVICE

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A20, TPS702, TPS701, TPS777, TPS778, TPS776, TPS775, TPS780

HI,

Which item  can design in M.2 circuit?

We need LDO POWER for M.2 VIO_CFG 1.8V(nc) & 3.3V(low) switching for sideband signals.

Thanks

  • Hello Perry,

How about TPS7A20? See some device specs below:

Do you happen to have some Vin and Iout requirements? Or specific key attributes that are needed for switching sideband signals?

Or were you looking for a dual output device with a 1.8V and 3.3V rail?

      TPS7A20
    AEC Q100 NO
    Output Options Fixed Output
    Iout (Max) (A) 0.3
    Vin (Max) (V) 6
    Vin (Min) (V) 1.6
    Vout (Max) (V) 5.5
    Vout (Min) (V) 0.8
    Fixed Output Options (V) 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 1.825, 1.85, 2.4, 2.5, 2.8, 3, 3.3, 4.5, 5

  • hi,

    We need 5V to 3.3V LDO, 100mA ~500mA,

    DRIVING LOW ENABLE THE DEVICE

TPS7A20 is high to drive the device

  • Hello Perry,

Thank you for the additional information. We do have LDO's where you drive EN Low to power the device. Since you have a 1.8V and 3.3V output, would you want a single dual output LDO or se two single output LDO's? I will provide both parts for you to make a decision.

Please look at TPS702 / TPS701 (Dual Output)

    TPS777 / TPS778 (single output) - 750mA

    TPS775 / TPS776 (single output) - 500mA

You might want to check out TPS780 , it has a Vset HIGH and Vset LOW for 3.3V and 1.8V usually for micro controllers. However, it is below your 500mA spec.

    Hope this helps,
