LMQ61460-Q1: WEBENCH provided converter isn't compatible with Data Sheet

Hi,

We are working with LMQ61460-Q1. I can't find this exact part is WEBENCH. The Data Sheet isn't compatible with the converter option that the WEBENCH provides (LMQ61460AASQRJRRQ1).

This is the part that I found on WEBENCH:

For example, the LMQ61460-Q1 doesn't have a reset PIN according to the data sheet and it has a PGOOD PIN which is missing in the above converter.

Do you have an option for simulating LMQ61460-Q1 in WEBENCH?

Hi Anna,

I'll need to check with the internal team to see why this has a RESET_N instead of a PGOOD.

RESET_N and PGOOD are sometimes interchangeable and I think the internal team might have accidentally mislabeled this pin.

The simulation should still hold for evaluation purposes but to properly represent the device I would need to get the Webench team to change this to PGOOD.

It looks like all other pins are properly called out in the design so this should be okay.

Hi Jimmy,

Thank you for your support. I have noticed that the EVAL board that you have in your site is also compatible with the device in WEBENCH.

The Data sheet has been updated about a year after the EVAL board document.

We will start simulating with the current given design but please check if the simulation results should be similar, it's critical for us.

What is your application (VIN, VOUT, IOUT, and FSW)?

I can share you both Webench designs once I've finished a basic review of the simulation results.

VIN =12 V, Vout =1.8V, Iout = 2.8 A , FSW: somewhere between 0.5 MHZ and 1MHZ, it's still not final.

Hi Anna,

Since the only discrepancy in the Webench model is just the RESET_N which should have been PGOOD, the electrical behavior simulation should still hold for your design.

Please see the shared export design that I created on Webench and continue using this for your 12Vin|1.8Vout|2.8A design.
