GPCCHEM: No required Chemistry ID in the GPC_report

Part Number: GPCCHEM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO,

Hello!

We sent 2 batteries for characterization to TI and both of them we added to list of Chemistry in bqStudio.

First battery is LiMn2O4 2p1s (№1) and another one is LiFePO4 2p2s (№2).

For the battery №1 I run test (charge-relax-discharge-relax) and got log for Gauging Parameter Calculator according to GPCCHEM instruction manual.

I found valid chemistry ID in GPC report with max DOD error ~1.1%. It has right manufacturer and model name.

I made 2 tests with battery №2: in 2p2s configuration and 2p1s. Second test was done because there's no info about cell balancing during GPCCHEM, but strongly affects the results.

And in both GPC reports I didn't found expected Chem ID. Best chemical ID from list has max DOD error >6% and as I know such Chemistry isn't recommended for use.

What could be the mistake? Are there any additional requirements for testing LiFePO4 batteries? How cells disbalance affects the result?
