Hello,

I am trying to change the chemistry of an assembled battery pack but I am having trouble at the calibration step.

After loading the ROM file, It successfully loads but it won't let me calibrate and I get the following message: "could not enter calibration mode."

The battery is unlocked and in full access mode:

I am following instructions in the following document (section 1.2)

The external voltage of the battery pack measured by a DMM goes to 0, after loading the ROM file if that helps.

Hello Eddie,

Check if the cell voltages are reported correctly by the gauge. And that no safety condition is triggered.

Hello Shirish,

Thanks for the help. I found the issue. The battery assembly needed to be unsealed again after changing the chemistry and each calibration step.
