My customer(Hitachi) is considering to use this device.

But they are concerned how long start-up time is.

Need the typical value soon.

Hi Tosh,

I have the part in the lab, and would be able to grab some waveform timings, but in order to get a startup time Cout is relatively important for that data, what Cout would they be using?

Hi John,

Thanks for the reply. They are 3.3Vout type, and Cout is 20uF.

Looks like the LM2936 ramp time is around 325u at 20uF Cout, I'd also Like to mention that for this part we recommend at least 22uF out for loop stability on the 3.3V part.
