BQ25616JEVM: Can we keep provide VSYS voltage from charger in temperature T3 region?

Part Number: BQ25616JEVM

Hello Sir:

According our tested results, that BQ25616J stops switching and the VSYS voltage be provided by battery in temperature T3 region.

At that moment our battery voltage is about 4.15V.

Tested processes shows below.

1. Battery voltage is about 3.6V and start charging by USB CDP source.

2. Put our PCBA and battery in chamber, ambient temperature starts rising from 25 degree to 40 degree. (our setting T3 to T5 is 40 degree to 55 degree)

3. Before temperature meets 40 degree that battery voltage is about 4.15V.

4. When ambient temperature is over 40 degree that charger stops charging, stat pin keeps low, and the VSYS voltage be provided by battery. (4.15V)

Is it correct?

At this moment VBUS still has power, why not VSYS power is from charger?

Please help to provide recommendations for us.

Thanks a lot.
