Hello,
is it possible to apply different VLED (for example 3,3V for red and green LEDs and 5V for the blue LEDs) Voltages to reduce the power dissipation ?

how can I calculate the permissible power dissipation (thermal model) ?

    Hi Christof, 

    It's possible to reduce power dissipation with that VLED setting. (V_red=3.3V && V_green=V_blue=5V)

    For the calculation of power dissipation, please refer to this Training Video (hyperlinked). 

    In addition to that, if you want some concrete test data, you could apply for a LP5012EVM from TI website or shoot me an email.
