LM4041-N-Q1: 1.2V@0.1% with temp range -40-125C

Part Number: LM4041-N-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF34-Q1, REF31-Q1, REF2025, INA240

Dear team,

My customer uses our LM4041AIM3-1.2/NOPB, and the temp range is -40-85C. Based on testing, they found that the temp range is too small, and they need --40-125C or -40-150C. Their application condition is that the reference voltage is 1.2V and accuracy is 0.1%, and AEC Q100 is also needed. But I can't find such device in ti.com. Could you please help recommend one appropriate device to me?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Sherry

  • Is the accuracy 0.1% only initial accuracy or sum of all errors - It may be better to use a series voltage reference like REF34-Q1.

  • Hi Ajay,

    Thanks for your recommendation.

REF34-Q1 don't have 1.2V option. I will discuss with the customer about our REF31-Q1.

    Thanks & Best Regards,

    Sherry

  • Thanks for the update. Let us know what you find out what the customer includes in the 0.1% accuracy - over temp, input voltage, output current, time etc., and any specifics about the automotive application you can share. Another alternative is the REF2025, whose Vbias output is 1.25V (half of 2.5V so used for biasing common mode input or shifting the output to midpoint of the 2.5V power), often used with INA240 or such bidirectional current sense amplifiers with analog output. Let us know if automotive version of the REF2025 is needed, this is under consideration.
