DCQ package information and thermal metrics are nowhere to be found in the datasheet of TPS73218QDCQRQ1.

Can you share with me these details ?

    See below the thermal information for the DCQ package. I'll make a note to get this info added to the datasheet.

    2. why are the DCQ thermal metrics for the -Q1 version are so far away from the industrial version ? - I was expecting fairly similar values

    Hi Pial,

    TPS732 datasheet has the pinout - I'm not sure why the -Q1 datasheet does not have it:

    As for the thermal metrics, the die attach materials used should result in the -Q1 version actually having slightly worse thermal metrics, so this leads me to believe that the difference is due to differences in the simulation setup used to get the numbers. The -Q1 version was released 2 years after the industrial version, 2003 vs. 2005, so I would suspect that there was some change in the board layout used or something similar.
