LM4132-Q1: Multi-component semiconductor (MCO)

Can you please clarify what you mean by MCO - are you asking if in the package of these devices there are passive components like capacitors, resistors, inductors or active FETs, for example, besides the main active die?

Our customer would like to confirm if aside from the die there are other components inside the device. Please see the article below from the E2E thread regarding MCO.

In that SIA article, I see the following:

• Must include an integrated circuit: Existing types of integrated circuits include monolithic ICs, hybrid ICs and multichip ICs, all of which are already covered under the ITA. An MCO must include at least one of these types of ICs.
• Must be multi-component: In addition to an IC, and MCO must include one or more semiconductor component like a sensor, oscillator or resonator. The list of components that make an MCO “multi-component” is limited by the definition. The inclusion of such component(s) is the differentiating factor between an MCO and a multi-chip IC
• Must be indivisible: In in other words, you can’t separate the IC and components without ruining the entire device. MCOs are not modular, they are integrated into a single package.
• Must be for assembling onto a PCB or other carrier: In other words, like any semiconductor device, an MCO is not an end-product. It must be incorporated into an end-product (of which the applications are many) for it to function.

Per this definition, the LM4132DQ1MFR2.5, the only product on the list from LP-VRS, is not an MCO.

I am tagging the team to whom belongs the next product on the list, TPS62180YZFR. They can answer and tag the next team.

I support the TPS548A20.   TPS548A20RVET has 3 die inside the package, a controller and two fets. 

Based on the definition posted by Ajay.   TPS548A20 is MCO

The TPS51362, TPS54326, TPS62175 also seem to be BSR-MV. Can someone from that team reply to those and then tag the next team - MC-BCS for the LM5176 and ask them to tag the next ones. Thanks, ajay

LP5907Q MFX-1.8Q1 only has a single IC inside the package, no other ICs or components.
