Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS3831, TLV803E
When will the push-pull variants be released? Specifically, the 0.505V/SENSE version. Can pre-release versions be ordered?

Hi Paul,
The TLV841 push-pull variant is not currently set for release.
We have just released the SENSE version with open-drain. Is it possible to use this option?
Probably -- I will order these and test. I suspect there will be a penalty in either power consumption or response time. Plus one extra 0402 resistor, which may not seem like a big deal, but it's going into a medical implant and we have only 75mm^2 total area for the entire circuit! I'll mark this resolved, but if you can give very rough timing (a month, a year, etc.) on the push-pull it would be great. Thanks!
Hi Paul,
There is no current plans to release this variant in the near term (<1yr). We are working to release more variants in the future and we will take this interest into consideration.
I appreciate the feedback regarding the output stage and the benefit of the sizing with a push pull resistor.
Hi Paul,
To add on. Would a device like TPS3831 be a good solution to your problem? It is slightly bigger but it does have push pull output.
Depending on the voltage option, we also have the TLV803E in a X2SON (0.8mm x 0.8mm).

Please look into these devices to see if they can work as a solution.
Thanks for these suggestions. In this case, the 0.5V threshold, small size, and low power are all necessary. It appears the TPS3831 only goes to 0.9V. I also looked at TPS3831, but the 7uA quiescent current is far too high for this application. Paul
