Our requirement is as below.
Input: 5V (for USB)
output: 5V (for USB)
Maximum power out: 20W
When the output ask more than 20W, the IC stable output 5V/4A, not shutdown.
Is TPS25925 ideal for this application?

Hi Joy,
Let me explain how eFuse device work. It has a current limit feature . You will set current limit to a particular value . In your case let us say 4A. When the load will try to draw a current greater than 2A then eFuse device will adjust its impedance and try to maintain current though it to 4A. Now when eFuse is in current limit , output voltage will fall(<5V) because eFuse has increased impedance to limit current . So power dissipation will be less than 20V.
eFuse device also has a short circuit threshold which is generally around 2*current limit threshold for different efuses. So when current goes above 2*4=8A device will turn off very fast and then start again quickly to limit current to 4A(in us time ).
I would recommend to use latest devices TPS259470,TPS259472.
