BQ20Z45-R1_BQEASY-SW: bq20z45-R1 with EV2400

I have an EV2400 that I'm using to communicate with a bq20z45-R1. I'm using the bqEVSW 00.09.64 but I get the message: 

"No USB board was detected! Please close this application first!

Then make sure that the EV2300 is connected and then restart this program!"

It my understanding that I can use EV2400 in this manner. I think I'm missing a driver or something.
