BQ25600: Power On to PG ready

Part Number: BQ25600

Hi,

My customer is trying access the time from "Power ON" using an external DC adapter to I2C ready?

How long does PG requires to go low after power ON?

Do we have to wait for PG going low before accessing I2C?

Currently we are seeing about 300ms from the time DC adapter applied to PG going low. Is that normal? Do we have a spec on that?

Thanks!

Christina

  • Christina,

    1. It depends on the input source type. /PG goes low after input source type detection is completed. Please refer to 8.3.3 Power Up from Input Source for the details.

    2. No, I2C will be ready shortly after POR. Please refer to 8.3.1 Power-On-Reset (POR) on the d/s.

    3. Please refer to Fig.30 on the d/s for an example.

    Thanks,

    Ning.
