TPS62826: Min/Max Switching Frequency

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer is curious about the switching frequency of TPS62826. The datasheet says 2.2MHz, but then mentions it is a quasi-fixed frequency and that the IC automatically makes adjustments to this frequency to improve efficiency. What is the range the frequency maybe adjusted within?

    Hi Art,

    If the customer is using TPS62826 that has both PSM/PWM modes, you can find the frequency variation with load and VIN in figures 23 & 24 of the datasheet SLVSEF9E

    In case he is using the TPS62826A - forced PWM version, you can find this info in figures 25 & 26 of the same datasheet.
