BQ25887: MID/CBSET when not using cell balancing

Customer using BQ25887, but do not require cell balancing. They want to avoid connecting the additional MID/CBSET pins to the battery pack.

How should MID/CBSET be connected in such a use case?

Hi Eddie,

The BQ25887 was not designed to be used without the MID/CBSET connected for cell balancing. Therefore, we haven't tested and can't warranty such operation. I recommend your customer change to BQ25883.
