Hi team

I would like to ask that when customer using TPS62067Q1 (2A max output) and customer actually outputs 0.3A, is that light-load condition?

Here is the customer schematic design and SW waveform after adding a 100 ohm resistor at C241 point:

Is that normal or how should we improve it? Thank you.

Hi Zirui,

The device still seems to be in PFM mode, but close to the PWM transition point. If you increase the load a bit more ~ 0.5A, the device should transition into PWM switching. In case the customer wants a forced PWM option, they can go for TPS62065-Q1.

Hi Zirui,

By improving the waveform, do you mean having the device switch continuously?

The TPS62067Q1 doesn't have a Mode pin to switch it to forced PWM. The only way to get it to switch continuously is to increase the output load current.
