Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2574,
Hello,
I have LMZ34002RKGT DC-DC converter and TPS7A3001MDGNTEP LDO. Should I use heatsink with this parts?
Thank you in advance.

Hello Behtan,
For the LMZ34002RKGT, the datasheet provides layout recommendations that should be followed to ensure that the part doesn't overheat. Just ensure that your board has sufficient copper area to dissipate the heat. As an example, the EVM for this device uses four 1 ounce cooper layers. I'll loop in the LDO team to answer your question regarding TPS7A3001MDGNTEP.

Hello Harrison,
Thank you for the answer. I will consider the datasheet whilst I do pcb design.
Moreover, I wonder if TI make design reviews? I mean if I send my Altium schematic could you check it?
Sincerely,
Behtan Umut Mercan
Hello Behtan,
Yes, when your schematic and PCB layout are complete we can review.

Hello Harrison,
I attached my power schematic below. Could you review the converters? I'll ask LDO parts to the LDO team.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
I noticed there was another thread started requesting an LDO schematic review, is that the same as this one or are they two different requests?
Today is the Labor Day holiday in the US, we will follow up with you as quickly as possible after the holiday.
Hi Kyle,
Yes, I opened it too. I thought LDO team and converter team is different.
Thank you for the information. Have a nice holiday!

Hi Behtan,
Here are some comments regarding the schematic you sent over:

Hi Harrison,
Thank you for the answer.
If I understand correctly I should use electrolytic/tantalum capacitors for the LM2574 and I should use ceramic capacitors for LMZ34002 as stated in datasheets.
