Typical LDOs recommendation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS784-Q1, TPS745-Q1, TPS7A88-Q1

Hi team

In my customer design, here is their requirement:

4 Automotive level LDOs are required, all of which are 3.3V input and output:

1.35V, MAX400mA;
1.95V, MAX400mA;
0.95V, MAX359mA;
1.25V, MAX100mA;

Therefore they need the LDO output adjustable.

Due to these requirements, what are our best and most common recommendations?

I see the TPS7A88Q1 while do not know it is the proper device and what other recommendations to customer? Thank you.

  • Hi Zirui,

    TPS7A88-Q1 is a dual-device. While it can be used, it is only recommended if you have rails on your board that are generally close together. A single-channel option that can be used would be TPS745-Q1 that can handle up to 500mA. For the lower current (100mA) you could also use TPS745-Q1 or TPS784-Q1.

    regards,

    Wilson
