TPS92390: ILED accuracy lower than 30mA

Hi Team,

I have a question about ILED lower than 30mA.

TPS92390 has analog dimming function(7.3.7.1 LED Output Current Setting) but the range of it is 30 - 200mA.

the current lower than 30mA should be less accuracy but do you have ILED vs 0~30mA data?

Hi Kai,

The range mentioned in section 7.3.7.1 is relate to the current set by external resistor. For higher resistance that set current lower than 30mA, we do not recommend because it is not evaluated by design simulation nor ATE mass test.

If you need to set current below 30mA, it could be achieved by internal DAC, which is controlled by register LEDx_CURRENT[11:0]. The accuracy could be within 5% low to around 1mA

I have one more question about TPS92390 and TPS92391.

Is only the difference between both channel number 4ch vs 6ch?
