How to eFuse A Low Voltage Negative Supply?

Perhaps a new product?  This area seems to be a gap in product offerings on the market.

I'm looking for a way to eFuse a relatively low voltage negative supply:  -3.3V. All of the eFuse options that I see on the market are appropriate for high side switching a positive supply, or for a systems that could use a hot swap controller.  However the circumstances are different when trying to break a connection on a negative supply such that the load potential reaches ground after a short circuit event and the fuse breaks the load connection.

The eFuse parts would I think in theory operate, but you'd be left with a negative potential still resident on the circuit, relative to anything else on the board - with no current flow.  This happens since the eFuse utilizes a pFET which would break the ground connection, instead of the supply line.

One distinct advantage of the eFuse is the size.  My application requires a very small footprint for the circuit.

Are there any parts that would fit this application?  App notes would also be helpful.

Thanks.
