LMG3422R050: Switching Waveform on the EVMs

Part Number: LMG3422R050

Hi,

I'm considering evaluating the LMG342x series on the LMG342XEVM-04(motherboard) and each daughterboard.

I would like to know how the parasitic inductance affects characteristics by pin connecting the mother board and the daughter board.

Could you show me the switching waveform measured on EVMs and heavy load(over 500W) conditions?

Best Regards,

Kuramochi

  • Hi Kuramochi, thanks for your question.

Unfortunately, we do not have any switching waveforms available to share for the LMG342x mother board and daughter card. However, the decoupling capacitors in the GaN half-bridge within the daughter card are intended to decouple the parasitic inductance between the GaN half-bridge and the mother board's dc-link capacitor. There have been no reported concerns of excessive parasitic inductance at this power level.

    Best regards,

    John
