LM22677: IC Temperature Junction Calculation

Part Number: LM22677

Hello,

I am wondering if you could help me sort out an issue I'm having with a power calculation.

The datasheet for the LM22677 is showing that the ThetaJA for the part is 22°C/W.  Is there a specification for the ThetaJC?

Our design is currently running a little warm, and we want to verify the junction temperature. So far I have been unable to find a reliable way of calculating the junction temperature of this part.

Could you please guide me.

We are estimating the power to be about 1.5W based on the workbench simulation.

Vin = 24V, Vout = 12V, Iout = 3A. Case temp is hitting 95°C.

Thanks,
Jason
