I would like to know this behavior.

Just to confirm - are you referring to the ideal diode operation of the device in the third quadrant?

We are investigating to see if we have any switching waveforms that illustrate this.

Hi Kuramochi,

Please refer to section 9.3.9 of of the data sheet, which covers the sync-fet (ideal diode) mode operation of the device when third quadrant current is detected. This section also includes the switching waveforms that illustrate this behavior.

Additionally, please refer to this application note for more in-depth information on the ideal diode mode operation.

Hi Kuramochi,

Correct, only the LMG3425 and LMG3525 devices have Sync-FET mode (ideal diode mode).
