Hi Team,

Customer use LM61495 to change 12V to 5.5V.

If the input is lower than 5.5V, will output through/follow input, nearly 5.5V?

    Hi,

    Please refer to the datasheet for more information on dropout condition in Section 8.4.3.5.

    Since this is a step down converter, the device will try to scale down the frequency if the input is close to the output to keep output voltage regulated.

    Once pass the point, the output voltage will track the input voltage with a diode drop and the device will be in dropout mode.
