Hello,

My customer wants TI review of their LMR23630 circuit design.

Could you please review the folloing circuit design?

Additionally, the customer also wants to optimize the number of capacitors on the output stage.

Please advise on how many of them can be deleted.

    Hello JH,

    What is the sat current on the output filter inductor? It should be higher than peak current limit of the device.

    The schematic appears satisfactory.

    Customer maybe able to get away with 3 x 47uf caps. I would recommend customer keeping placeholders and validated product with reduced output cap. 

    Customer maybe able to reduce input ceramic cap as well. 1 10uF and 1 0.1uF should be sufficient.
