FUSION_DIGITAL_POWER_DESIGNER: Fusion GUI + Command lines Support of 2 TI USB Adapters

We're have a PC that is connected to 2 target with 2 different PMBus where I have connected using two TI USB Adapters.  Went through doc of the command line "FusionConfigWriter.exe", "FusionParamReader.exe", "FausionParamWrite.exe", there is no mentioned how to select which TI USB adapter we want to connect to?.

Also, For the GUI SMBus/I2C/SAA Tool, is there an equivalent using command line?

  • Hi, Savang,

Currently GUI only allows using 1 adapter at a time and no option to select a adapter out of many due to the order of usb adapters might change depends on which port the adapters are plugged in and in what order they are plugged in.

If you would like to use 2 different applications for 2 different TI USB Adapters, try the below: unplug 1 adapter, and use Fusion CLI to see what devices are connected to the plug-in adapter (#1). Then unplug the current one (#1), and plug in the other (#2), then use another Fusion CLI to communicate with other adapter (#2).

The FusionParamReader.exe and FusionParamWriter.exe are a subset of SMBus/I2C/SAA tool CLI where you can read or write SMBus commands.
