I could find most references discussing about 1 phase on-board chargers, so if I can get some design references for 3 phase on-board chargers it would be really helpful! Thanks!

Hi Desiree,
A quick search on ti.com for 'electric vehicles' brings up the detailed App Note: www.ti.com/lit/an/slla497/slla497.pdf .
Please review and when you find a Reference Design that is of interest to you, please provide the number/description so that we can connect you with the Product Group that has more information about the particular design.
Thank you,
~Leonard
Hi, the TI solutions in the document suggested and several others I reviewed seem to be for fast charging stations. I am looking for a reference on 3 phase on-board charging. For instance, the design TIDM-1000 (TIDM-1000 reference design | TI.com) suggested in the doc is also recommended for off-board charging. Please let me know if this design can be adapted for on-board 3 phase charging or if any other design is available for the same.
Desiree,
Please see
Fig 5 and Fig 6, two basic approaches are used
Modular or Non-Modular. When using Modular approach the design is very similar to a single phase OBC , we recently released a design for this further optimizing the solutions that are existing TIDM-02002 + TIDA-01604 => PMP22650 (https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP22650) , which also used TI-GaN technology.
Additionally, for the integrated approach we T-Type TIDA-01606 for the PFC at 10kW, for 6-switch type PFC Wolfspeed has a design using C2000 MCU CRD-22AD12N which goes upto 22kW.
For the DC-DC portion CLLLC and DAB are still the most commonly used topologies and we have TIDA-010054 (10kW) and TIDM-02002(6.6kW) already available.
If you are designing a uni-directional OBC then TIDM-1000 can be applicable, TIDA-01606 is the bi-directional version of the design.

Thank you so much. This is very very helpful. I shall go through these in detail and get back if I have any questions.
