Hello team,

One of my customer asked below question. Can I ask your help on this?

  • Is ti.com BQ30Z554 documents are the latest version?
  • Does BQ30Z554 uses voltage based Cell balancing? Or, Capacity based balancing? According to TRM, seems it uses capacity based cell balancing and it works in REST mode and charging. Is it correct understanding?
  • What is termination condition for cell balancing? The Balance Time calculation is described in TRM but there is no explanation 'when' it is calculated. Is there detail description of start/end condition for cell balancing?
