TPS54020: x-rays TEST --- found de-lamination across the bond plates to the die

Hello

The x-rays show what appears to de-lamination across the bond plates to the die.

We want to know if this is normal ? All of the parts x-rayed show this issue.

Can you pls help to confirm with your factory about this issue? Thanks in advance.

Have you faced any problems with these parts?

Specifically, are you seeing any continuity problems with this material?

X-ray is a good technique for finding structural problems such as broken wires, broken stitch and die chipping

Since delamination is essentially a void between the die and/or wire and the mold compound, x-ray cannot detect such an issue.

CSAM is the preferred technique for finding delamination.

We can’t really tell anything from the pictures provided.
