Hi TI team,
In page 20 of BQ25910 datasheet, it says "The kelvin connections to the battery can be made via a 100-Ω resistor".
The 100Ω resistor is needed or not? Why?
Thanks!

Hi Eleven,
It is better to have this 100Ω resistor as it can protect battery from short circuit issue at BATP/BATN pins.

Hi Zhiyong,
Why the 100ohm resistor could protect battery from short circuit issue?
Please kindly help!

Eleven,
We can refer to following figure to better discuss the protection.
If there is a short circuit issue occurred between BATP and BATA pin (as shown in the above figure), these 100 ohm resistors can prevent huge battery discharging current.
Therefore, it can protect battery from short circuit issue.
