TPS548D22: Delay for PGOOD going in Consult

Part Number: TPS548D22

Hi Team,

Customer is consulting the min and max value of Delay for PGOOD going in. We only provide the TYP value in D/S. Pls help us here. Thanks

Best,

Stanley.

  • Hi Stanley,

I believe you may have a datasheet that is slightly out of date. Here is the table from the current version:

The reason why there is no maximum or minimum specification is that the power on delay for power good is well controlled internally and does not deviate much from 1.024ms. When the output achieves regulations, there is an internal delay of 1.024ms at which point the power good MOSFET turns off and the PGOOD voltage may be pulled high.

  • Hi Alec,

Thanks for helps. So what's the typical deviation range you estimate for this power good delay, ±5%? Customer needs this info to do worst case evaluation.

    Best,

    Stanley

  • Hi Stanley,

Given that this is a typical spec and production tested, I would say that +/-5% is a typical range. I will see if I have any data available, but if the customer can tolerate +/-5%, I believe that should be more than sufficient.
