LM43603-Q1: Difference between "LM43603PWPR" and "LM43603AQPWPTQ1"

Part Number: LM43603-Q1

Dear TI

I am thinking of replacing "LM43603PWPR" with "LM43603AQPWPTQ1".

Please answer the following two points.

(1) "LM43603AQPWPTQ1" is an in-vehicle grade product of "LM43603PWPR", and can it be considered that the basic characteristics are the same?

(2) Comparing both data sheets, I am concerned that the recommended setting constants for Cff differ between products without "Q" and products with "Q".

Is it possible to replace the product without "Q" with the product with "Q" without changing the constants of the peripheral circuits?

Best Regards,

Taroimo

  • Hi Taroimo,

    1. The parameters are the same, and the only difference is that Q-1 version passes the AEC-Q100 standards.

    2. You can directly replace LM43603PWPR with LM43603AQPWPTQ1, no problem. In the datasheet, there is some RFB resistance and Cff difference, only because automotive customers are not very likely to utilize resistors with too high resistance. And the Cff can be calculated via the RFBB. So actually this will not influence your design. You can remain all the design of the peripheral circuits.
