When these parts are configured in a OR-ing configuration, will the loads still be protected from reverse polarity?

    Hi Jeffrey,

    LM74610-Q1 does not have reverse current blocking functionality (which is key for OR-ing functionality) when the input voltage is positive. Hence LM74610-Q1 is not suitable for OR-ing  configuration. LM74610-Q1 is suitable only for input reverse polarity protection.

    You can consider using LM74700-Q1. This device supports both input reverse polarity protection and reverse current blocking (thus, OR-ing) functionalities.
