TPS759: TO-220 body part (heatsink) connection

Hi Experts,

Good day.

Can you please confirm if the body part (for heatsink) of the OPN: TPS75901KC in TO-220 package is either connected to GND, OUTPUT, or no connection at all and recommended to isolate from its pins.

I read the device D/S and I couldn't see further information about its connection. Hence, I am seeing from its device application notes that heatsink is likely hanged.

Hi Archie,

I just talked with the PM and the thermal pad is connected to ground. It is not a floating voltage, it is connected by being fused to the ground plane.
