Hi,
This is the circuit we are using to get 1.8V from TPS62243QDDCRQ1. But instead of fixed 1.8V we are getting 2.3V. We are using 3V coin cell battery. Why is it so and what are the steps to rectify it.?
Thanks,
Nivethitha D

Hi Tanvee,
We didnt connect the output to any load circuits. We just rig up the above shown schematics and the measured voltage is 2.3V. We tried changing the Buck converters too.

Hi Nivethitha,
I am unclear which platform are you using for output observation.
Are you measuring it on evaluation board? I would suggest to share the waveform if it is on hardware.
If it is simulation then I would suggest to share the model.

HI Tanvee,
This is the output waveform for output voltage and load current. When the load is diconnected, the output voltage is 2.1V to 2.3V. When Connected with a constant load of 50mA, the voltage decreases to 1V.why is it so? Please suggest any solution. Thanks in advance.

we made up the circuit as shown in the above circuit. The input for the buck converter comes from the Coin cell 3V.
Hi Nivethitha,
Generally, battery has current limitation and selected coin battery might not able to support input current for load condition. You can try to disconnect the coin battery and try to connect external supply and check the voltage.
Can you share the layout and setup details? Device should give 1.8V output and not 2.3V.
Best regards,
Tanvee
