LM5009A: C3 Value between LM5009

Hello team,

If Vin value is not changed, can we use same C3 value(=0.1uF) as same as LM5009?

Now, my customer uses 0.1uF capacitor for C3.

[Datasheet recommendation]

LM5009: No smaller than 0.1 uF

LM5009A: No smaller than 0.47 µF

Please follow the data sheet recommendations for the specific device:

For the LM5009, use >= 0.1uF

For the LM5009A, use >=0.47uF

Why recommended value is different between LM5009 and LM5009A?

My customer will use LM5009A as LM5009 due to its supply situation. So they want to use same layout and external components.

This is the background of the question on this thread.

Operating experience with the LM5009A indicates that using a 0.47uF capacitor improves the

robustness of the complete application.
