Hi team,

How much channel to channel voltage could UCC21222-Q1 deal with?
Another device, such as UCC21540-Q1, shows its "Channel to channel isolation voltage" abs max is 1850V but no such this information in UCC21222-Q1 datasheet.

Ochi,

UCC21222-Q1 should have the same channel to channel voltage rating as UCC21520-Q1, so 1500 VDC. Keep in mind that this is the functional rating for the internal of the device. Externally, channel to channel voltage is limited by creepage and clearance, which normally are determined by working voltage, material group, and pollution degree. Also, we would not recommend higher ch-ch voltage than the primary-to-secondary ratings, listed on pg. 6 of the datasheet. Ochi,

To be clear, the 1500 VDC I listed above is the internal rating of the device. The limiting factor is likely going to be the external creepage. The package of this device has a minimum channel to channel separation of 2.28 mm, so assuming material group I, and pollution degree 2, IEC60644 Creepage Standard specifies a maximum of about 456 Vrms, or 638 Vpeak.
