LMR23630-Q1: Differences between LMR23630-Q1 and LMR23630

Part Number: LMR23630-Q1

I am thinking of replacing "LMR23630ADDAR" with "LMR23630AFQDDARQ1".

"LMR23630AFQDDARQ1" is an in-vehicle grade product. What is the difference from "LMR23630ADDAR"?

Is it possible to replace the product without "Q" with the product with "Q" without changing the constants of the peripheral circuits?

  • Hi Kota,

The Q grade part has some additional assembly process to meet automotive grade quality standard, so it can replace product without Q.

LMR23630AFQDDARQ1 has Force PWM feature which works at fixed freq at no load to full load range, the system Iq is 10mA level. You need to verify loop stability with Q part at light load condition.

No need to change external components as they have same freq.
